smoking lavender?

you can smoke lavender its to calm your nerves and there is a strain or marijuana called lavender and that plastic thing is not cool at all
 
I realize this is a year old, but still Lavender is some dankies. Really calm and relaxed high, lots of smoke and it's really clean smoke. It isn't dangerous. Toke up :bigjoint:

I dont mean to sound like an asshole, but you people are being ridiculous... Smoking lavender is perfectly safe. It has anxiolytic and sedative effects, but is not harmful unless you have some kind of an allergy... you all just seriously fucked with this guy's head and probably ruined his night for no reason... Lavender is a perfectly acceptable additive for my cigarette purposes.

Most people advise using 3-5 buds of lavender per rollie, depending on the size. if you are vaporizing, use 2-3 as the sedative effects can be more potent than you realize. The smoke should not be very harsh unless your lavender is old. I am prescribed medical marijuana for joint and muscle pain and anxiety among other things, and find lavender to be a very calming herb to add to any pain treating strains, given that sometimes it is hard to find a strain which treats my symptoms without causing excessive anxiety.

in the future, you should all think about researching the question before responding, because you have clearly caused this person some trouble, and very well may have caused them to be ticketed for marijuana possession or something of the sort unnecessarily. This is my first post here, and i dont want to sound like a douchebag, but you guys really need to back up your information if 5-6 of you plan to give someone advice on medication or recreational drug use.

I know that you all probably don't take this all seriously, and you have only caused minor financial damage to this person at this point, but if you are all answering questions such as this on a regular basis without scientific grounds, you are bound to cause real and life threatening health problems for someone.

once again, i really dont want to sound like I have a stick up my ass. I've taken many substances in my time, and i am simply trying to offer precautionary advice. Lavender smells like perfume I can't believe someone was dumb enough to buy it. The first thing ppl do when they get a bag of weed is smell it. You should have known right there it was lavender and then you actually smoked it anyway?.. Man, kids are gettin dumber and dumber. At least your breath will smell good for a few days. I don't think it'll make you sick though.
