Smells like tuna? Tastes like Black Pepper?

Howdy yall, so this is my 2nd post here at rollitup and Ive got a question?
I recently was gifted a few nugs of a strain that smelled like tuna fish/skunk. It sounds kinda weird but it was strangely tantalizing. Does anyone know what this strain could have been?
Additionally, a few years ago I shared a bowl with a friend that tasted like black pepper. First hit and I was like, "Hmm...tastes like black pepper?" Then I took another hit and was like "Mmmm...black pepper!" He said it was AK, but the town I lived in at the time was full of dipshits that would sling dirty sensi and falsely label them to sound cool. Thats one of the reasons I actually started growing.
Anywho, if theres any other veterans out there who could drop some science on me, id really appreciate it.

the dude may have used fish mix in foliage

i ad an POG (hundu kush x skunk) smell like roast chicken dinner

I had some Ice that smelled like a minnow bucket and leather. Gross.

had a strain (mixed bagseeds (bred a few together))

that smelled and tasted like black pepper, though more on the taste part.

once bought a bag of weed, that smelled, completely like mushrooms, with a taste to match, . completely like mushrooms (which i dislike the taste and smell off, still smoked it lol)

@sso Just finished a Greenhouse Bubba Kush, poor pheno, also smelled like mushrooms, not very plesant, + some black pepper.

I had some Vanilla Kush from Brnys that smelled like fungus/mushroom-ish, but once it was lit it was a pretty nice smoke. I didnt grow it out very well tho, I accidently vegged them wayyy too long for their environment, I over feed them, and the ac craped out for close to a week. But the smoke was still pretty good.
I also had some Diesel from world of seeds that smelled similar to vienna sausages.

But Id sure love to find a strain that tasted like black pepper....

yeah, thought at first the dealer had it laying with mushrooms or something, but apparantly it is a real strain pheno.

not often i dont find the taste of cannabis pleasant, but im sure mushroom afficiados would totally love it lol
