Sap oozing from bud while trimming, smells terpy tastes like honey. ??

First grow, strain is skywalker OG. trimming today and noticed a slightly amber sap oozing when i trim close to the buds. soo being like any other curious fella, gave it a taste (because it smells awesome) and its sweet like honey (sap..?).

Anyone have any input on what it could be?

No pest issues. No Molds. Nothing funny other then my whole grow getting seeded by a hermie i missed. Caught the seeds early on and decided to finish it out. Smokes good.

It's just sap, it's very common.

Yep its just sap, don't try to smoke it, its basically sugar and burns up and is gross. I was totally confused the first time I saw this on plants. After a little research I found that it was no big deal. I would try to remove it from any buds you are gonna be smoking.
