smell

So Im going to grow three plants in this small clearing in a forest behind my house, and im concerned how much that general area would smell of weed. Im planning on growing some durban poison, belladonna, and some sort of kush, and what would be the smell radius? thx for any information

the cannibus bible is telling me that kush is recomended you only grow it indoors. Its always good to experiment, but in most cases its best to follow the advise of the person who developed that particular strain.

Meh im still deciding on what to grow... I want to have one sativa, one indica and one mix. but how much would it smell? I know no one would be near it but its better to be safe

indicas generally smell more. it depends on the size of the plants and the individual phenotypes.

i'm curious too, how far off could you smell 3-5 plants outside?

who cares, that question is almost unanswerable as far as all the variables go

bump for a real answer, just general info would work i think, i mean if you got 3 plants outdoors, is the scent going to disperse within 10 feet?25 feet?, 50?100? reguardless of the strain, i'm just curious as to a ballpark distance from the plants befor the smell isn't noticable

well a ballpark figure would be more of a worry about sight, not as much of smell. who gives a hell if you smell the bastard in the woods........as long as someone cant SEE it from the point that you begin to smell it. got what im saying??? that is unless you are living right next door to a drug dog owner or something.......0_o

I agree with KOCHAB, the most important thing is that they are not seen. There are so many "green" smells in a forest that after about 10-15 feet any smell would dissipate. Just my thoughts...

i cant tell you how many times ive walked down a street or something and 'smelled' weed. im sure its happened to everyone here a million times. no one is going to stumble on your 3-5 plants just because of the smell regardless of what strain your growing. as for smell radius i dunno. i could smell my ripe celtic stone buds as soon as a walk in my house, and that shit is in a solid concrete room in my basement.
