Does the tire dump smell terrible? That might overpower or at least mask the smell of the weed. Although...100 plants? seriously? That's insane. I would never grow that many within two miles of anything where anybody would ever be, nonetheless 40 feet. Someone could just HEAR you and get curious, for christ's sake.

ur going to smell them from pretty far if there all female and its a smelly strain that stink up atlest half a mile prpbaly i had one plant in veg outdoors sour d and could smell that from 20 feet away

You're seriously planning to grow 100 marijuana plants just 40 feet from somebody's place of business? I was almost about to ask you to be sure and tell us how that all turns out for you, but then I realized it won't be necessary. I'm sure we'll all see it on the news.

I would think that even if it were a very low smell strain, multiplied by 100, it's gonna flat out stink up a decent sized area. I've been around plots before with ~6 females that could only be smelled about 150 ft away, but if there were 100 of them, well it wouldn't be hard at all to find.
No matter how good a spot, I wouldn't put more than 10, maybe 15 plants there. If you've got 100, then possibly 20. If someone happens to find one of your plots, or something happens to it, then at least you still have 80 plants spread out elsewhere, rather than loosing everything.
Personally I wouldn't grow even 1 plant that close to where people roam, but that's me.

i disagree... i think that you would be surprised how close you could grow under some1's nose.... as for the smell of 100 plants? well i guess if the wind in blowing in their direction they will be able to smell it from a ways away, but other than that... if ur not a smoker i dont think that others A) know the smell B) smell for it C) have enough curiousity to check it out.... give it a try ... gotta go out on a limb to get the fruit
100 plants in one spot is always a bad idea. Split it into 5 areas of 20 AT LEAST. And I hope you've considered the legal implications of getting caught growing 100 plants...you'd be locked up for a loooong time. Yet another reason to split it up; then if they find one patch, you only get 20 plants' worth of time.

100 plants that is some serious work to do alone, i was also wondering how can you water this many plants and by the way police look for this type of thing that many plants will make a formation that you can see from the sky and even if its near a watering source your screwed because police also look near water sources and pay attention to wierd plant formation. I wouldn't do that. its a waste of type in my opinion.

I think the thing to do is use the plants to spell out the word "TOMATOES". Then they won't realize it's marijuana, and everything will turn out just fine.

spell the word tomatoes thats a horrible idea, i think the main idea of everyone on this site is to grow bud and actually get some bud out of the process if you get busted what is the point. Here is a good idea for people who dont want to get busted. buy a dvd called never get busted and vol. 2 never get raided in the video it will tell you some key ponits on how not to get busted transporting and growing weed.
