Small Lightweight GasPowered Irrigation Pumps

I was wondering about small lightweight gas powered irrigation pumps. Honda makes a WX10 model that sells for around $400. That's kind of expensive for basically a weedeater sized water pump. I want to be able to run 1” hose out to at least 100 feet away on flat ground.

I want to do an outdoor guerrilla grow for next year that will give me quite a few months between now and next year on stocking up supplies buying a little bit every month like a water pump, promix bales, ect.

I found this $114.95 pump on Ebay , it only rates for 26.5 ft of suction and 13 ft of suction height , but the Honda WX10 model is rated at 118 ft of vertical height.

I found an area near a creek that's pretty flat. I'll spend what I have to on a water pump to keep from having to lug water. I've got degenerated back, hip, and knee joints. If I can find a good deal and save money, naturally I would rather do that. Only planning on doing 30 – 40 plants. Planting 3 or 4 plants at different locations and using a gas powered auger with an 8” wide bit to dig a triangle shaped 3-point hole with the holes almost touching then bore out the center. I do not want huge eye-catching ripper-taking tree bushes.

I've always wanted to do a decent sized guerrilla grow but chronic joint pain problems have stood in the way. I want to plant in early June using 12” clones. I'll be using an ATV to hit each location fast, always parking at the creek to avoid making a trail to the plants. Watering time will be minimal since using a water pump and each location will only have 3-4 plants. Grow locations will be no more than 10 and spread about 80 yards apart but no plants will be right on the water source.

I'd like to know some recommendations on a water pump that won't break the bank. 150 ft away from the water source is about the maximum I'd want to be. I don't want to run anything larger than a 1” hose for weight issues. The lighter the weight, the faster I can move. I'd prefer a lightweight water pump but if it's heavy really won't matter since I won't have to lug it by hand any great distance using an ATV.

I thought about this pump from Harbor Freight, I can always buy the extended warranty and HF has always been good at exchanging things out for me with no run-around >

I know there's got to be someone on here who uses a gas powered water pump , if I have to pay the $400 for the Honda WX10 , I will but I was looking at doing this outdoor grow as a one time operation and not every summer and whatever I yield will be for my own personal supply of oil , hash making, and edibles. I grow indoors but only keep myself in a toking supply.

What water pump do you recommend ?

In keeping the budget down I would invest in a durable portable drill, buy one of those drill attachments which pumps water and fill a HD plastic garbage bin to act as your reservoir. You can always use the drill around the house. You can also buy a inexpensive 12 volt marine bilge pump to further pump from the reservoir to the plants. I used a car battery and small solar charger. I bought the 12 volt timer on ebay for like $10 so I wouldn't have to tend to the plants all the time. If you use soaker hose make sure you buy the low pressure type, I made that oversight. Oh... watch back flow after the pump shuts off, even on flat ground the water level int he tank will cause siphoning, but a cheap pvc check valve solved that issue for me. EP
