small grow, flower to show sex?

Im doing a small box grow. I have seeds but no idea which ones are female.


Should i plant 6 seeds, grow them with the 6500k cfl, then switch to flowering with 2700k cfl, once sex is shown go back to vegging with only the females???

btw, 24/0 for vegging, 12/12 for flowering?

yes this will work I have done this in the past and just started to flower from seed, and once sex is determined then thrown females into veg. The problem I had with this is that the females developed abnormal growth almoast like a cancerious cell or somthing leaves became deformed but at the same time the plants grew very bushy and with topping I produced 4 even six tops that made some good buds. The heights stayed low after two months they were 6 tops and a 3 feet in diameter and only 18-24 inches tall. Very bushy but kinda wierd at the same time.

Yeah that method works great, acually its about the only method to identify the sex. You should be ok if you flower for about a week and switch back to veg. Good luck
