Trying to see what my best options are here. I have a 2x2x3 grow box that I built for my veg/clone room. My flowering tent is 3x2x5 w/ a 600w hps dimmed to 60% on a phantom ballast with a 6" can max fan connected to an air cooled tube. Temps in the bloom tent stay around 88 degrees and get as high as 95. I have plenty of air circulation in there but still cant get the temps down. so im thinking about down grading to a 150w hps. For my veg room I really want a 150w mh, but im afraid ill run into heat issues. I have a window box fan on top of the grow box to vent out the air and a small fan to vent in air. I don't have space to or really want to get another inline fan. So my question is will I be ok with a 250w mh bulb dimmed to 150w with a lumatek ballast and not have to worry about temps or will the 4 two foot t5 ho bulbs do fine for my small veg room.
