Hi all. This is my first grow, in a specially constructed room in sheds. There small flys (midges) in the room. Are these a problem?? If yes, any advice on dealing with them?? Gracias...

You sure its not fungus gnats? Either way, use cucumber slices on tinfoil, it creates a noxious gas most insects avoid at all costs..... Also peppermint oil on a cloth in a small dish works as natural repellent....And COVER YOU DIRT or they will continue to propagate....

If the flys arose after you began to grow, your soil is old or have been outside in the garden.
Like vostok says, flys live in your soil.

Or you may shit in the corner ...that will distract them for a few hours
...in time will prove to be useful compost ...if you don't mind the smell!

just never use D=Earth diamentous earth if you intend to smoke that weed ...lol lol
