Slurricane #7

So what’s the consensus on running this strain outdoors? I just ordered some beans for next year’s outdoor garden and read some mixed reviews.

I heard the new set of slurricane #7 that came out this year have a tendency to herm and that last years packs were some of the best. When did you buy your pack?

Just got them. Strange a new batch of the same S7 genetics would all of a sudden develop a hermie trait. Also, seems most “hermie” issues show indoors…lighting issues. If the strain was stable before, should still be, no? I’m more concerned with mold/mildew.

I can’t speak for the new packs, but the old s7 packs with old art were fire, no herm issues whatsoever for me. As a matter of fact, my keeper cut is one of the most stable plants I’ve grown. Never grown them outside but have run them in conditions favorable to mould and they were fine.

Bro…you literally made the slurricane #7 packs famous. You know that right? I hope they sending you tester packs like a mf. You’re an awesome grower and I hope you continue to do amazing things on your journey!

That means inhouse either has little to no pollen control. Or he just puts whatever seeds he just made in the packaging, and gives them a new name every new "release".. New packaging, different sack of seeds. I wouldn't put either past them.

Thanks for the acknowledgement and encouragement bro, it means a lot. No I haven’t heard from in house about testers, but they seem pretty cool and would probably work with me, but time is an issue right now and I haven’t reached out.:joint:

Mother of god…that is spectacular.

So is that a unicorn or can one expect to find that in most packs?

I don’t care what it smokes like because I don’t think I could bring myself to chop it.

I was able to land a 5 pack of Slurricane f1 a few months ago. I was so happy with what I found in half my first pack of #7. I still have half that pack and other Pack of #7 I got with it in the old packs I'm holding onto. I am probably going to hold onto that half f1 and full S1 pack like gold. I also have some Animal cookies x slurr #7 x og kush breath and gelato x slurr #7 x Ogkb as free seeds with one of my slurr orders. I still have skid marks from when I found that in the box . I have most unfortunate news Ted. Only one of each germinated and I feel righteously fukn infuriated at my self . My own growers mistake and a stupid one I have never made ,experimenting like a idiot on some of the best gentics in the world. Way more humics then needed to thin the case. I should have gave them to you, I don't deserve them.

At first I thought it was hard to grow and slow in coco with NFTG but I found the pheno I kept to like A ridicules high ph early and made the changes . This grow should have some photo spectacular bud pics . My third round is vegging and should have the good life all the way through. I didn't know how to post viewable pics the first time I posted. I had bad necrosis the first round due being outside the its steep ph gradient in flower but it was still very good smoke and load blowing to look at . Once I got ph on point I found I was underfeeding early second week strech and I got that in line. She has turned into a vigorous beast and looking pretty good 6.5 weeks in. I am going to bombard this run with Aphrodite's extraction over the next few weeks and see what happens. Its actually dosi dom but looks punch because I messed up so bad. The best nugs where light green and faceoff strong and hinty ,but theses buds looked prettier for the pics. A lot of people cant get buds like the ones in my hand doing a good job let alown the clown as grow I did my first try so kudos to the #7 and NFTG.

This thread is pretty cool and chill. I will probably hang out here. Pulling my hair out and calling people names on the nftg thread, I see no reason to here yet. Just waiting for someone to say there seeds wont germ with the hammer, torch and ice method.
