Go to the garden center and get slug bait. Try a few differnt kinds. spead it all around and under logs around your plants
place a circle of salt around your plant
like within a foot of the perimeter. they walk into it and shrivel up nicely
Grow space...I'm not breaking your balls or nothing...but putting salt anywhere near your plants is NOT a good thing. There are plenty of other things to use to avoid salt use. Its alright to use salt if you're 12 and want to watch the slugs melt. But as far as plant health is concerned, salt is prolly the worst thing you can use.pouring salt isnt a bad idea-just do it far away 4 your plot, or a very nice idea is-put some plastick bags around (cut srtips) and then pour some salt on top of it-in that way salt doesent get to the soil.D:
I am going to try to get some of that slug killer but I am broke so I am probably going to make a big ring of salt around my grow area away from all of the roots.
And probably set some of those beer traps as well.
since you cant get to your plants everyday, then for the beer trap use something that is a tall container and big enough that a full beer will fill it only about 1/2 way.
bury it so there is about 1/4 inch above the ground.
lay 2 sticks one on each side of the cup.
then a piece of bark large enough to cover all the way over the cup, but the 2 sticks keep it propped up in the air about an inch. the bark will keep the rain out for the most part. unless you live near me where it seems to be raining for a month now.
