Dont know if theres a problem or if its just the strain. It is HSO Blue dream.seems to be growing very slowly. Was hoping to switch to flower just over 4 weeks old but might have to wait till over 5 weeks considering there size. 24 days old. 400watt mh bulb. Feeding ppm is about 390 ppms. Any feedback appreciated.

Yeah they look pretty tiny for 24 days but they look healthy at least
I know right. I was thinking it could be the bulb but its only been used twice . Was hoping to switch to flower just over 4 weeks but dont think ill be able to considering there size

Yeah they'll need another 4 weeks minimum. You probably aren't watering enough

I agree with the size, pretty small for 24 days. Looks like the light too far and in general not enough nutrient uptake. Either you have a ph imbalance or too big of a pot or both.

Going to move them closer to the light. Wouldnt be the pot because they were only transplanted the other day because i thought it was root bound. I will check runoff ph on the next watering.

I just noticed that your plant aside from the new shoot has only 3 set of of finger leaves. My seedlings are 27 days from sprout has 7-8 set of finger leaves (nodes). Have you grown this strain before? If so, does it have the same growth rate as before (wondering if its genetics)? If not, that's a really really slow growth rate.

Curious about your intention of flowering it in 4 weeks, any particular thought as to why in 4 weeks? I'm planning to switch mine by 6 weeks, my reasoning being that at 6 weeks the plant is more productively mature.

Yeah i was thinking the node spacing was pretty bad alright.this is my first time growing this strain. Have a bit of a deadline as im going away for 10 days on the 8th of october so i kind of need it to be down a dried ready to cure by then. Was decided after i already popped the seeds.

ahhh, too bad you have to leave

Also something you might change during watering. Hydroton doesnt hold water as long as perlite. You might have to water more as compared to your previous watering schedule. I mainly use hydroton for aeration purposes and not for its capacity to hold water. In fact, hydro growers love hydroton for that reason.

Good point. I think my problem with bad node spacing is something to do with the light im going to swtitch to my hps and see

plus water and nutrients

I have a bagseed strain. My first time growing it I have the same issue. My inexperience in growing mj resulted in not a robust growth. Naturally, I blamed it on the shitty genetic of the unknown strain . But then, I was determined on accumulating knowledge about growing mj on any style of growing, on any medium. So, my experience and research tells me that everything plays a major role that means your light, your watering, your nutrient, etc. Cannot neglect one without somehow affecting your overall plant growth.

I'm still growing the same bagseed (still scares me to order seeds) but how my seedlings looks like now doesnt resemble how it looks before. Makes me feel like I'm growing a totally different strain. lol
