Hello everybody this is not only my first time posting on this forum its my first grow as well. I have 1 plant of 4 different strains goin and they all seem to be experiencing slow growth and sense this is my first grow I really have nothing to compare them too but according to the pictures of 2 week old sprouts they seem pretty small.

My setup is simple... its a stealth closet grow in an ebb & flow system 2x2 with fox farm nutes and a t5 sunblaze 4 lamp 4ft flourescent light which emites 20k lumens. I keep the PH between 5.4 and 5.8 and I feed them about twice a day. My plants are about an inch in size and still forming their first set of leaves (not the sprout leaves) but the first 2 leaves after the sprout leaves and I can see where the next set are coming in but after 2 weeks I was under the impression that they should be reasonably bigger like tripple the size they are.. I was wondering if Im doing something wrong. O yeah and the light is as close to the tops as it can get being as how its resting on the edges of the tray but must be around 6 inches from the tops of the plants.

please offer any input you guys have to my newbie grow op.

Stop watering so much, try to get it down to once a day. up your ph 6+, mist your plants daily with seltzer water that has no added sodium, make sure its always carbonated. an easy way to add CO2 to your plants. dont get them started on nutes you will burn them.

Sounds pretty good so far.
Once they lay down a stronger root system, they'll start to perk up and grow faster above as well.
They should be bigger then an inch or two if they've been germinated for 2wks now. How long are you running your lights for? Right now they should be on from anywhere between 18hrs and 24hrs. Got any pictures? As for those fluorescent tubes.. try getting the light closer then 6 inches. Is the spectrum of the light 6500k(blue)? They can actually be touching tube flouro's if it doesnt burn the leaves.

Welcome to RollItUp brother :). Sounds like a sweet setup. So from what I gather you currently have two week old plants and are on your first true set of leaves. Okay and Ebb and Flow is most definitely the way to go. Are you feeding? At this stage feeding isn't really necessary. Just make sure your pH is right. Keep your pH between 5.5 and 6.0 and you're golden. Do you have testing tools and are they calibrated? Post up some pics and remember with E&F the flood cycles should be 4 hours apart if working with younglings in order to get the roots racing for water. Then close that gap as you see roots appearing underneath. A bit longer intervals if using rockwool. Good luck bro.

Wow, literaly less than 30 minutes after I posted this thread I have all these responses which is comforting. Alot of good feedback, to answer those questions, I am using half strength solution right now so if yall think its okay to go back to just PH adjusted water I will change the res right now with plain water with a ph of 5.5 to 5.8. CO2 also crossed my mind I just have none at this time so is something I think I could pick up.

The plants are in fact in rockwool so I will just put them on something waterproof to get them closer to the lights. I have a descent pH meter pen and it is in fact calibrated I calibrate it like every week justo make sure it reads 7 in 7.0 solution so its accurate of that im sure. I have been watering them like 3 times a day but they are not on set intervals I just do it morning noon and night so I will cut it down to 2 times a day or some people have even said water them once a day.

I do have pictures on my android phone that I have yet to upload to my computer but will soon. THANKS FOR ALL THE FEEDBACK this site is real solid.

Sounds like a rock solid start. Don't worry about Co2 for now. I personally don't use it and I hauled 559g's on my last harvest in a 3x3 tent. Though as you grow with your hobby you will find many things that you suddenly can't live without ;). I myself am guilty of just that :).

Oh and forget the pics bro. They were taken from a phone so therefore can be tracked to within the range of your nearest cell tower. No pics from phones ever unless you are a licensed med grower and have no issues with legality. Have fun and good luck seems like you are off to a great start and you're headed in an even better direction now.

Forgot to ask, sense they are two weeks old should I still be running watering them with plain pH'd water? should I change the res from half strength nutes to just plain water and wait till the next res change to switch back?

:) anytime.
I wouldn't supplement nutes till the cotyledon's yellow off a bit. Then a quarter dose till they seem to want more. So yup, plain pH'ed H2o for now.
