As of today we are at 44 days of 12/12, Grand Ak showed flowers withing 4 days of the switch and the Purple Cadillac showed flowers around day 8. I am thinking I have about 3-4 weeks left.

Any pre-guesses on harvest weight?

Day 45 of 12/12

Went in and did the last bit of defoliation on the plants. Now we are gonna just water/nute and watch. Still no sign of nute burn.

Watering Day! Pots were super light so I decided it was time, unfortunately I lied (sorry Curiosity2) I put a gallon of ph'ed water as usual through, tested PPM and they were the same as last time

Still no signs of nute burn since last watering so I think I am gonna be good. Took hella photos, cut it down to the 21 best, sorry for the bud porn haha .....not.

Plants are looking good man. They sure are hungry aren’t they; well I guess they need a lot of food right now because they are putting on some serious weight, looking at your pictures. Your camera does an excellent job catching the colours; I love the blues, purples mixed with the green along with the frosty whites. You have posted a couple of pictures that are just awesome looking, what camera are you using?

Besides the fact that they are hungry another possible reason why there is no signs of nute burn from the amount of nutrients you are providing could be due to the fact that every time you water you kinda do a “mini” flush. Your data shows that 1 gal of water quickly leaching through the soil picks up 900 ppms of nutrients. In my opinion 900 ppm in ONLY ONE GAL is a fair bit. Obviously the whole gal doesn't come through, so the less water that comes out the other side will play a big factor from the weekly ppms fact sheet. Is the runoff roughly the same every week; is it a cup of water or so and what are your thoughts about this?

This picture is one example of the awesome colours that I'm talking about.

Yes they are extremely hungry girls! I like a girl that knows how to eat hahah. Anyways to answer some of you questions. When I put the first gallon through the Grand AK I get about 1.5 cups of water out of it. The Purple Cadillac is different, only get about 4 oz of water out of it which is barely enough to use my meters. I usually water every 4 days but with the defoliation I need to check the weight of the pots cause they might be pulling up less water. If all goes as normal then today is watering day! As far as cameras that I use: When I want close ups and extreme details I use a Cannon Rebel T3I, But the pretty pictures are being taken with my Nexus 4 cell.

No watering needed, the defoliation must have decreased the amount of water needed to sustain the plant. Maybe water tomorrow but most likely Wednesday from the moisture I can still feel a little under the soil and see in the drainage holes.

They are doing scheduled maintenance on my power grid and it's fucking with my light schedule. Should I take the girls out of the tent and let them sit next to my window for light til the power comes back on? I also need to water badly.

Are you sure your not my neighbour, f-in power is out here like every other day. I think some kind of light during their normal schedule would be better than darkness for days, but I can't see you being without power for that long unless you really do live where I live. I have a gen but was forced to buy one after a storm took out power for 4 days just after I paid $800 for a cow. It was the same night I went and got old Bessie from the butcher in fear of the storm, and then that happens. I had to freeze the meat or it would go bad and the gen was the same cost as the cow, so what could I do. Just don't do anything like 4 hours in window, then 4 hours in dark, once friends leave put back it light for 4 more hours and then Mom shows up, so 4 more hours in the dark............ You will be fine, remember your the man, were all counting on you...lol lol

7 weeks of 12/12

Just a quick update been very busy. Water both girls with a 1750 ppm nute solution yesterday. No burn whatsoever. One more good nutrient watering and then the flush stage. I feel like the Grand Ak is stunted she is not doing much of anything but checking the color of her hairs but hopefully I'll wake up one morning soon and she will have gotten super fat. The PC is doing great swelling more every day. For warning I might give her a extra watering of break since I've been reading it's a 9 week strain. Just gonna keep watching. Will be cutting a small Bud to check for color of trich's just for fun and photos. I know they are not done. Curiosity2 I don't think I'm your neighbor unless you live in the Sf bay area. I did end up setting them in front of the window for 3 hrs til the power came back on. Snapped photos I'll upload tomorrow. Grow on! I can't wait for the next project. Breeding!

Day 50 of 12/12

So I took a few pictures today. Im also upload the pictures from when they had to sit next to the window. I tried to bring myself to cut off a bud to get some good trich pics with the microscope but I just could not bring myself to do it. Maybe at week 8. Watering both girls tomorrow, with the possible last dose of nutes. Im still not sure its the right time to stop giving it to them. The Purple Cadillac seems way further along as far as bud growth is concerned. Both girls hairs are changing colors so we know we are getting into the last few weeks before harvest.

Day 51 of 12/12

Took some snapshots in the grow room of the PC, Her "hash tips" or bleached tips, lighter size comparison and such. Watered today, 1800 ppm a piece. AN Overdrive only. I am serious this time when I say, Starting day 1 of week 8 of 12/12 we will go ph'ed water only!!! I have not gotten any nute burn so far but they are far enough along where I want to start working on getting the nutes out. What ppm should the soil be at harvest?

Thanks man but honestly the PC I trained the least and it did the best! The Grand AK looks so sad in comparison. Could just be the Ak ran out of room for roots and my stupid strait FFOF at the beginning. She has been a finicky bitch haha. The PC is putting on weight daily. she is not tied to all of the green stakes yet but I put them there in anticipation and knowing im gonna wake up one more and need to tie her buds up fast.
