Sleeping Within a Few Feet of Grow Tent

Been reading the forum for awhile, this is my first post- go easy on me

I am growing indoors, grow lab tent, soil, HPS 600w lamp...

My basement is pretty crammed therefore my bed happens to be only about three feet from my tent... I will be starting my first grow next week, am I okay sleeping next to my tent? Thx

I have slept 10ft from my tent for 2 years, my 440cfm fan noise helps me sleep .

That's how I look at it, also as mentioned above the fan noise helps me sleep.

i sleep about four or five feet max from my grow.. i try and time the on and off time of the lamps to coordinate with my sleep patterns.. works out well during flower, but not so much during veg, but i deal with it anyhoo's.. not that much of a biggy really.. i like it for the fact that if something happens to go wrong, i'm right there to catch it.. for example, i have read of people's lamps not coming on or going off, but that would never happen if your very close to your plants.. i pretty much wake up and know what time it is by the simple fact if my lights are on or if they are off still.. i love it..

I sleep next to my tent, about 6 feet. I too am like BatCave, I can't sleep without the sound of a continuous hum of a fan or inline fan. I haven't slept in a dead quiet room since I was about 6 yrs old. My lights turn on at 7:30 pm and go off at 7:30 am, a higher electrical tier rate applies during daytime hours so I take care of 2 things at once, a slightly cheaper bill and no need for a heater during most cold nights of the winter. It doesn;t bother me sleeping during lights-on because I keep a smoke detector inside the tent, one outside the tent, and a fire extinguisher within arms reach of my bed. Some people talk about radiation from bulbs, I don't worry about that because I only use a 250 HPS , but I wouldn't want to sleep so close to my tent that I could reach out and touch it.

my clone closet is about 5 feet away if i get cold and dont wanna turn up heat i just open door lol
