i also agree on the whole dro bs, see what i think is that dro, dank, fire, is all personal opinion and a lot of the time a selling point for ppl trying to peddle some schwag or some shit mids, and i belive all of us here feel it "shows your age", "immaturity" but i feel its almost disrespect. All of us here either grow, or aspire to someday, we all have taken the time to knowledge ourselve on where it comes from and how to create the right conditions, the rite nutes, temp..ect and we most likely know what strain, or even bag seed if you will, were not goin around calling our shit dro, hate that word, but its almost like having a "child" if you will haha i just think anyone using shitty slang like that doesnt know their shit and doesnt care to,

I agree with you to a certain extent but its also definitely a generation difference.
The younger kids who listen to the rap on the radio all day are the ones who refer to it as dro because thats what they hear. I don't care who you are if you hear a word being used regularly chances are you will start using it.....thats part of human nature.

But I certainly don't believe they refer to it as dro out of disrespect for our favorite plant :weed:

Trust me man it irritates me to no end when I hear children talking about their "homegrown that my buddy hooked me up with from mexico" or "I got the most killa outdoor dro"

Both extremely contradictory statements if the terms are taken for their literal meaning but here again is where age difference rears its ugly head......

In the real world "dro" is short for "hydroponics" but in fantasy rap land that a lot of teenagers are living in these days it means something completely different

yesssir true...hahaha if i only had a dollar for every time i heard something similar to that, it is the age difference, but just a majority because i feel im somewhat ( but not really, a few years ha) part of the "rap generation" as much embarrasment as that brings, yet i know better but that doesnt make me any better..were all enjoying the same plant that makes us all happy, yet every once in a while id like to smack someone for their wording on doing so...because whenever someone talks about some dro,dank,fire..and you ask for further info on it, only to be answered by a description at best..haha, why i know EXACTLY WHAT mine is and WHERE it comes from

rep point for agreeing what rap has influenced and also being frustrated on just how cool the rap generation is

I guess its a matter of whether or not you're peddling the shit or not.
When I grow my pot I know exactly what it is and where it came from but in my down time between harvests I buy all kinds of weed that I have no clue where it came from and I leave it at that.

I don't see the point in telling someone "hey I got some killa fire dank dro" if its good, when I go to buy it I'll see its good, and I'll buy it. regardless of what some asshole calls it to get his jollies off lol.
When I hear that its almost like they are trying to tell me its not as great as they are about to tell me it is.

Really good weed needs no introduction :peace:

Honestly, and this statement has nothing to do with skin color, these people who speak in "ebonics" (for lack of a better word) sound like fucking morons.
I can't stand what this whole "rap lifestyle" has done to our society.

Don't get me wrong I love a good rap song as much as the next guy but there needs to be some separation between what they talk about in their music and real life.

some of the kids listening to this stuff don't have a brain developed enough to understand these rappers are making shit up to appeal to listeners.

Its all very sad really.

i feel the same way, i saw a statistic that said lil wayne ranks highest in having the most uneducated fans. how true it is? i have no idea. . thought it was kind of funny though.

i was channel surfing yesterday, happen to see the ending of his performance on some talk show let me just say... holy crap! it was garbage, i cant believe he makes money doing that. . definitely not off me though!
