The titles question is not about the real versions of og kush or Chem 91. The question is what kind of lies were told by DNA about the genetics used to make THERE versions of OG Kush and og18. Basicly if DNA says they used this or that to make those seeds i dont believe them. Whats not in question is where chem 91 came from or anything about the storys of where the real OGs came from.

From what i see in the title is Chem 91=OGKS1 etc which is already not accurate. If you seen my post, i did mention they're completely two different strains... Therefore you should have known the information provided by DNA is bulls*it. Why wouldn't you believe them? You must have believed them before reading the truth of the origins of OG.
Sharing the information of where and who has the answers is all i did. It's an open forum, i there's no law about getting a little side tracked

It's all good my man! I wasn't trying to come at you or make anyone feel attacked. The title ends with a question mark and is explained in detail through entire thread. I've been growing for 20 years indoor and a few outdoor before that and some plants just resonate with me and og18 was one. I've never believed DNA and I've pretty much always thought they were shady so I figured I'd ask what others that grew the original og18s thought. Also I don't really believe most of the stories out there about certain OGs but I do believe the chem story.

I'll see a pack here and there being grown out on social media but nothing insane. Definitely would like to run his gear one day soon.

I got 12 Elite Kings Skunk Va bx going now, he told me he's being bought out so if anybody's looking to grab some probably should ask soon. Wonder what JJ's(topdawg) story is on chem 91? Do you know of any info he's put out? Besides og18 another plant that was very similar was his Underdawg#1 from early 2000s.

I always wondered if JJ chem was something different? Possibly crossed out? Was Loompa gifted that cut? I have the history of Loompa underdawg somewhere! Please fill me in either way!

I'm not sure about JJ really. I don't believe the Loompa Underdawg is the same but I'm not positive. Here's the only info I know on Underdawg #1,

When I grew them they had super dark green leafs and very similar look to skunk va pictures. I remember going to a pinball convention and usually you got to go out to recharge every hour but that Underdawg had such a long buzz that it was perfect for events. Just another of a handful gems my stupid ass should have kept.

The title of this thread is kind of off-base but the confusion and mystery with "THE FAMILY" of modern cannabis is always a valid topic until things are all sorted out... if that will ever happen or not. There's been progress. I'd love to hear if there are any new updates, but I don't think anyone's tied a direct link between Chem and OG yet. But it sure looks like it to everybody like they're mixed up somehow. I'm gonna bump here with a topic of personal interest.
So I bought a pack of DNA's 91 Krypt just before it sold out. It was my first buy of real seeds from Europe along with a pack of Serious Bubblegum. The idea of the "real" 91 Chemdog crossed with an elite OG male sealed the deal for me. Years later, there's still mystery and doubts about both sides of that cross. I've been putting together clues to the mystery for a while and I have a strong suspicion but I'm wondering if anybody has any experience or inside story with the 91K.
Brief 91K report:
When I received the seeds with my first ever seed purchase, I was pissed. They were tiny, crappy, immature looking seeds and I didn't believe any of them were going to pop. I picked out the worst looking two in the 6 pack and put them in paper towels before bitching to the seed bank. Well, they popped so I figured I knew nothing. They started out pretty slow and one started growing all wonky for a bit but eventually straightened out and they got on schedule. One went male but one was a girl and was very nice and was just what I hoped for. I didn't grow it very well but it had a beautiful pure, clean lemon pinesol flavor. Potent and had that hum in brain and body. I was happy with the buy for the time being but about a year later I got two duds and a male. I have one seed left.
On the upside (though I definitely didn't recognize it at the time) I let that one female get too close to my lights on its second grow and it blasted out pollen and ruined my whole grow. HOWEVER, I have a ton of S1s and various hybrids that keep kicking out great kids. I think I lucked onto a pretty great accidental pollen chuck.
So anyway, I'm more and more interested in what was going on to make the 91 Krypt. Any help?

Here's a quick update on the clone only Chem 91's I picked up a while ago. This is the one flowering at week 1 since flip. It's the one in the middle that is obviously growing like an OG. I have another vegging and a clone I took that just started to look promising. Gotta keep this baby going if I can. I love Chemdawg. Wish me luck guys, lol.

They are OG#18 but they'd be a later package the older ones didn't use that packaging and the q code let's you know it's newer.
The pack of OG18 I grabbed in 2008 and ran in 2014 seemed to look and smell like any Chemdawg crosses I've ever grown.
