skunk #1 400w tent grow with pics

These are my girls,they are 3 weeks old from seed under a 400w mh,i plan to switch them tonight,is it a good idea? How are they looking? Let me know guys

id wait a few more days, but if yuo do it now they still may just flower when their ready. I vegged some for about 2 weeks after seed, flipped at about that size, and its been another 2 weeks they havent started flowering yet.

Hmmm,i may wait a few more days then,im just a bit concerned about space issues as my tent is only 60x60x140 and if they double in height during flower then they could possibly be near enough touching my light and that will burn the shit out of them

Get Them On Flower if space is a issiue, they will double in size with the strech and mayb more time you have BIG COLA's

I think you could go ahead and flower now if you really wanted to. I would wait another week or two unless you have space requirements. The quicker you flip to 12/12 the smaller yield you can expect to get. I guess it is all personal preference.

You also have to factor in up to another week of veg growth before flowering begins. My plants tripled in height when I switched. 30 days of veg they were about 10-12" tall. 8 weeks of flower and they were 30-34" tall.

I was planning to switch them on the 19th when they are 4 weeks old but where my tent is only 60x60x140 I am a vit concerned about space,what sort of realistic yield do u thibk I could expect?

that is true the smaller you flower them the smaller the yeild, saying that tho if you do them to big you have next to no yeild as your top cola's that contain around 60-70 % of the yield will not be able to grow and the heat stress will effect the smaller bottom branch's via the pain in the top of the plant produceing not very nice looking plants so it's up to you on weather you would be happy with nice healthy 2-3 oz plants or try for that extra half oz risking the lot

Thats true spunkymonkey,if I can pull 2oz off each plant then ill be more thsn happy

in that case switch those light iv just come out of my 180 tall tent with a ruler and looking at your pics they are the same hight i flower mine (3weeks veg) and iv got 51cm of space from the top of my light to the top of the tent at week 9 flowering so you should have the room to finish your girls, looking how healh your plants are and being skunk#1 you should be able to get 2 oz a plant (although i always recommend that you aim for 1 oz a plant so then when it comes to weighing time you will always have a smile on your face ) if things start getting cramped in there with the 1 plant per sq foot chop the lower branch's off to inprove the main cola/top of plant
