Skipping veg?

Hey guys so I’m running a small indoor grow only 2 plants, I was defoliating and decided to make a few clones for fun. My 2 plants are 5-6 week into veg and I’m flipping to flower in 1-2 weeks. So my new clones will be skipping the veg stage. I’m wondering if I will run into any major problems? Should I avoid doing this? I was just going to throw them out but I figured why not try a solo cup grow.

long story short, is skipping the veg stage with my clones going to cause any harm to my other 2 large plants?

Do you have any advice on how to avoid herming, like is the stress from root bound or because the plant isn’t strong enough to support itself? Could I still put this clone in a little bigger pot to help that? Or offer more support, if that is what’s causing it stress?

Usually light is the culprit. Light getting to them when they should be dark.

Heat and lack of water will do it to.

Basically if you keep light off of it and environment on point it will be fine. Thats not to say that it won't still herm, bag seeds are just unstable genetics most of the time.

Tent is sealed pretty good, temp is at 73-76, humidity 55-60. I’m going to give it a try but now I feel a little more confident lol thanks for your advice!

Sounds fine man... I'd prolly shoot for 45 50 on the humidity tho once flowering starts.
Ohh that’s another question! I have a large dehumidifier but it’s too big for my tent, I’m wondering will it still work if I put it right outside the tent? I haven’t had to use it yet so I don’t really know ha

I’m doing it right now with 3 cups. I’ve done it before and it just had 1 huge cola, a little over a quarter ounce, and not 1 sign of being a herm. I can fit 49 cups in my tent, and cut the grow time significantly by cutting the veg cycle out. That’s roughly 12oz give or take, which is pretty close to what I’m getting now with 2 plants in 5 gallon pots because I’m only in a 3x3. If I can pull off 12oz from solo cups, I’m not growing any large plants anymore, why when I can get the same weight in less time. Once I’m done with the girls I have flowering now, I’ll start a grow journal from start to final dry weight with all the cups. The plant doesn’t get very tall, so I could easily have a second tier and double the plant count. But I’ll start with 1 tier first and see how it goes.

I got a buddy doing something similar. He's got 30 cups in a 4x8. Its cool as hell. Too much like work for me tho.... lol

I grow organically so I don’t have to worry about the crazy feeding. I know they eat more often but my wife is home all day and she don’t have anything else to do, plus it’s for her anyway. Fill up the spray tank and feed away.
