Thanks, i might try that method. I like the washrag idea; it's probably easier to get the seeds out than with a flimsy paper towel. And, i was wondering about those colored seeds and if that coloring affected germination rates, so thank you for that info. I heard you only get the colored beans if you order the multi-pack, so you can tell them apart.

I moved all my paper towel seeds over to party cups, and i'll wait a few days and see what happens. If nothing happens, i'll put my other ordered seeds in, and i'll report back on what pops. Hopefully, it was me who screwed up before, so i dont have to place another order for a while.

Thanks man. This was my first attempt at ordering seeds; i've always popped bagseed in the past. I know that enough people have good experiences with seedbank seeds that i will try again.

I am not opposed to using bagseed again, but the problem i dont want to grow out 10-20 to find a good mother, i want to keep my numbers low. And, i want something short and bushy. NEED something short and bushy. I've had Sativa dominant bagseed that take forever, grow too tall, and produce little, but i can never bring myself to throw it away, because i love Sativas. The seeds i ordered are short, bushy, potent, high yielding and mold resistant; how can i go back to bagseed now?

One way or another, i will have cured organic buds within 4 months. I'll keep you guys posted.

I have always had good luck germing seed from Singleseedcentre. The few times I ever had bad luck germing was my own fault and keeping them too wet with no air and they ended up moldy and mushy. Here is the guaranteed easiest way to germ, almost 100% success if done properly.
Get some jiffy peet pellets.
Soak your seed in a little water for a couple hours or til it sinks and then place pointed side down into moistened jiffy pellets.
I then place it in some tuperware or something to keep it from dripping and put it somewhere dark where the kids, cat, dog, parents will not find it.
Keep it vented and air being exchanged so it can dry out and not become standing moisture because that is when mold will form.
Just like watering plants, when it dries out a little just add a few drops of water to make sure the seed stays a little moist, not wet just a little moist and humid. I have had green seedlings in as quick as 12 hours later. Then you grow the seedling under some light til the root pokes out the bottom(1-3 days) and plant it in some dirt. I just germed 4 Sannies Seeds that were the tiniest grossest looking of the batch and now I have 4 seedlings growing in pots all ready for the veg tent.

Nirvana's Germination kit works pretty good. If you ever order from nirvana give it a try.

3 more days have gone by. Still nothing. I put some seeds straight into soilless mix, and those didnt germinate either. I tried some bagseed too, and nothing. Nothing from any seeds.

So i just put my only Afghan Kush Special seed and some bagseed in a washcloth/tupperware using Brick Top's method. I only have one seed left from my purchase, so this better work. If this doesnt work, i'm at a loss. I've never had problems germinating seeds before. I have been germinating seeds of one type or another since i was a pre-teen.

Well score one for Brick Top's method. EVERY seed i tried using his method germinated within 2 days, including the WOS Afghan Kush Special feminized, which was tiny and didnt look like a good seed. Either way, now that i got one of my feminized seeds to pop, i can use that as a mother, and keep my total number of plants under the amount i wanted to.

I think i found my new germination method.

OK, final verdict, the seeds i got were fine. I messed up on germination first round.

Everything i tried after that has worked, including all the stuff i put straight into soil, and the stuff i tried using Brick Top's washrag method. The bagseed i put in on both methods popped too.

So i have Afghan Kush Special, and The Church, both feminized started. The fun begins!
