If you don't mind me asking did you make that move on your own?

No.... my sister is my best friend and we could not live apart from each other. She and her daughter (my niece) came with me. I bought a house here and they lived with me for the first year before my sister was able to buy her own house. She now lives about 40 minutes away.

I need to move in my opinion, but it's seems like such a daunting task to face alone.

What age group are you, if you don't mind.
When I was younger, I did a bunch of hitch-hiking. Be it cross country or just to the next town, it was ALWAYS like being re-born.
Of course, I know the world's changed a lot and am sure many would never hitch hike unless they absolutely had to. Still, there was a time when a guy could clean himself up and stick out his thumb, pockets full or, more likely, empty and create a forever life-changing experience.
Just wanted to philosophically add this cuz' of the moving changin' a life thing.
Good luck.

I couldn't agree more! I was born and raised in Northern Cali... when I turned 21 I headed to So. Cal for new adventure! It was a blast! I only lived there 8 years then moved back up to Nor Cal where I stayed until I moved to FL.

Once you get a little older moving around isn't as easy as you have to sell a house.... buy a house... etc. but I really think it's something every young person should do.

I have a little rule for myself when considering something i only think of what can go well and not all the things that can go wrong, it sends you into a negative thought spiral

I'm 28 years old. Negative thought spirals are very challenging to me. I have like this problem with my thoughts. They NEVER stop. The only time I seem to be able to focus thoughts is when I'm high. Otherwise I'm scatter-brained.

Dude, try a sober break. The weeds not going anywhere. It helps you get your thoughts together and understand who you really are. its hard for the first few days, but it feels damn good. Its like a vacation without doing anything

at least you are not that old. You still have time. Just talk to the ladys and don't come across as a dork. I don't see what the problem is. you will be fine. Breaks are good. Don't get down about it.

absolutely man!! Ive been there. just think about this, if your feeling low, theres no where to go but up. its actually exciting if you think about it that way, the anticipation of how good you can start feeling later:blsmoke:

I think you may be right about a sober break. I just get so down without the herb. Not smoking today because I'm giving blood tomorrow, but I'm thinking about smoking tomorrow already.

thats exaclty what im talking about. What if you wanna go on a vacation somewhere where you cant have herb? you probably wont go, and imagine all the fun your missing out on. It sounds like weed controls you, and you should be controlling it.

Its 100 percent more enjoyable when you dont feel obligated to smoke. Other wise its just like another responsiblity to stress you out and thats the opposite effect you want!

i used to be that way but its mind over matter, i smoke twice a day now and work two jobs, before i was a lazy RIU stoner who was just being handed laziness in the form of a plant lol, if it was up to me i would do nothing but get high, everyday, allday, but life kind of gets in the way

That's almost entirely correct...My life does revolve around herb. Cannabis ranks very very high on my daily priorities list. I would never put it before family or friends any time, but it comes before many other things.

ok another word of advice is enjoy what you have, embrace the fact that your single, live it up. Im assuming you have a few guy friends that tend to be fun, hang out with them, do what you enjoy, if you like hunting go do it, if you like bowling go do it. if you like sitting at a bar with friends go do that, chances are if your doing something that you enjoy, the women around you then will probably enjoy doing it too, so you would already have something in common.
