Yup, but been reading your threads and crazy's threads... along with anything to do with growing with cfl's lol..

Still got alot of stuff to learn but hands on training is always the best right? lol

well it wasn't that it was a bad experience. i mean i got 31 grams in a pc so...lol it was just alot more involved than a soil grow. i may try it again down the road we'll see
 
you could use the dwc in the PC for a mom if you get the upgrade! that thing had great growth for sure

yeh there are sprouts comin out of everywhere im lovin that super cropping it really got the stem thick and sturdy! i still gotta get a hold of some molasses even tho the bio-bizz nutes i use for veg and bloom have molasses in them, i still want to get some. I will go check ya grow out rite now thanx homie
 
hey simply, just wondering how long it took your seeds to pop out of the soil? My first grow so just trying to get like a normal time range I guess...

The last seed i cracked I placed in a wool cube. Once it started showing roots at the bottom of the cube, I transplanted it to a party cup with FF soil. Here is a pic.

I think I will use this method going forward. I also use a clear party cup cut halfway down and flip it over for the humidity dome. I guess that's the "greenhouse" method?
 
That's what I was thinking the greenhouse method was, just placing the seed straight into soil and covering with a humidity dome.
 
Never heard that was the name of the method but I guess it makes sense. It's also important to make a hole or two so the plants can breath ;)
 
If you look up Hobbes on here, he has a great book in his signature he put together with a TON of great information, something like Weed Science. A great resource for sure! He details his technique for seeds straight to soil.
 
so im gonna update with pics EARLY in the morning before i go to work...im off on the weekends so its all good :-) be ready cause she is gettin big :-) hopefully i am gonna order a 105w cfl to add to the case friday to add for flowering.
