Simplest Nutes for a beginner

Hey guys I am doing my first real grow, I did one time but I have assed it and got the same results.....my buddy says the simplest nutes I can get are Canna at the local hydro store....anyone else using Canna????

my kinda first grow commin soon, i am thinking of getting a canna grow medium, i think it will do a good job, just dont be me and take soil from your garden thats had allot of dead pets in and other plants growing there not really ideal good luck
