simple soil for vegging?

regular, simple soil works for vegging.... right?

It works just fine. Ya want soil with no added nutes. Ya will have to add perlite or vermiculite. Ya may have to add some lime. Other wise its all good.

and then when i transplant i should just transplant it into the soil with the nutes...

yeah, but you know whats crazy...some perlites has nutes added also... so you might want to watch out for it... a seedling can handle nutes, but its not suppose to have any and to much of it can hinder it or do it some damage.... the most important thing is not to overwater when nutes are involved.... some people don't recomment vermiculite because they say it makes the soil spongey... perlite does the opposite...

and you "don't" have to do anything.... just know these are recommendations to make life easier on you....
