Simple Quick question about Euro Reflectors / basic wiring CFL!

Can i buy this reflector and just snip off the IEC lead and wire a standard UK plug for my 125w CFL.

i attached some more pics of the light. The circle around the cable is the IEC connector, Fits to Sodium / MH ballasts.

here is the IEC i was talking about.

the reason im asking is because on most sites it with these reflectors that are perfect for my purpose it says they are suitable for 250w - 600W lights. whereas i want to plug in my 125w CFL to the reflector.

Im wondering if its saying that because there is an IEC on the end of the plug or because its actually ONLY for sodium lights.

yeah ya can chop the iec off and add a plug
Brown (L)
Blue (N)
Yellow/Green (E)


fuse it with a 3 or 5 amp fuse
