simple question about changing plant/bud color

So i heard that people can change the plant/bud colors by adding food coloring to their plant. I thought this was interesting for bag appeal. Is there an organic way to do this?

Maybe grinding a colored fruit in with your water?

the only method i know of that works for sure is cold temps during flower on a plant with genetics that favor color change

cold weather will do it, but most of the time its genetics

lighting, age, temperature all change the color. as far as forcing it to change color, i have no idea. Would be cool though. here is a picture of a fellow roller's beautiful plant
