I have seen both. Mine is a 6000 btu it has 1 exhaust tube. I got it at walmart. I would suggest talking to an associate at the store, ask to open the box and check. There will be onerot two large 6inch holes at the top for the exhaust, cant miss em.

thanks for the reply , im looking for 10,000 to 12,000 btus now , i hope i can get one with one 6inch exhaust . also want one with anolog controls . not digital . i think the larger units need two exhaust holes which is gonna suck for me 
i only have one 5inch dryer vent hole

Can I use a small portable fan for ventilation? max of 5 small vegging plants

i ran a 10,000 and it had 1 exhaust and it was 5" worked great till we got 85f temps and i added 1200 more watts
