Simple co2 question

yes but it is only good when the lights are on

otherwise you could hurt your plants

I looked into options for C02 and ended up just buying a bottle / regulator set up @ the pet store that specialized in fish tanks

Like $400 after all said and done I have been using it for 2 months so far without a hitch and you can really tell a difference with and without the C02

So if their on a 24hr lights on veg grow, the melting blocks of ice will be ok, or is it only for flowering?

The Co2 is turned off at night. I don't know if it would harm the plants in anyway running it during the dark hours. I doubt it would, it is however a waste of your co2. There are co2 controllers on ebay all of the time. I just bought a new for 280 shipped.

you can totally put dry ice in a a mini cooler or bucket and let it evaporate to produce co2(better if you dill holes and has a lid). however if it's a large room it wont work as well. It wont harm them at night and there is no type of controller i know of for this type of co2production. happy growing:leaf:
