Back when I was a kid, I was a big scifi fan and nerd in general, read the rings as a teenager. It fell away with the other things of childhood, but I do still play with toys and enjoy cheap thrills...

Pence wouldn't have a clue what he was pardoning though, but ya never know with that guy. I don't see much in it for Pence except trouble, Donald will stab him in the back when he is cleaned out on the witness stand. Even if Donald is pardoned, he just has to be called to a witness stand for anything at all and he will automatically lie and commit perjury and WILL rat out everybody he was in a conspiracy with including the guy who pardoned him, Pence.

Most movie and TV references go right over my head. That's by design. I did see Star Wars, though, nothing after the first three. That's because drive-in theaters improved their sound and I was really into psychedelics for the special effects. With a good car audio system, it was a lot of fun.
