Sickness or nutrient deficiency or nutrient burn?

I originally noticed two plants having some problems after I was gone and my roommate failed to water them (3-4 days no water, 3-4 weeks into flower). These symptoms included yellowing leaves, but in particular I noticed brown decaying spots starting to pop up. I had originally thought these were from a calcium deficiency so I added 5 tablespoons of dolomite lime to each plant. I’ve continued to have problems (albeit at a slower rate than before) and similar problems are now spreading to previously healthy plants that have been healthy throughout the grow. They are now on day 46 of flower. I’ve tried flushing with pHed water and then reapplying nutrients, but then I started to see tip burn/decay on the previously healthy plants so I flushed again yesterday and this morning the Symptoms only seemed to become more apparent. This is my first grow and I don’t have the experience to diagnose these problems so any help would be much appreciated. The pictures I’ve attached are from all of the plants. I’m not sure what order they will upload in so if anyone wants to know which pictures are from which plants I’ll do my best to address those questions.

Is the discolouring happening in newer growth or in older larger fan leaves?

Growing in “Roots Organic” soil in 5 gallon fabric pots.
I’m using “Mother Earth” dry amendments, the bloom formula.
I’m not exactly sure where the discoloring is coming from. It appears to be all over. I haven’t noticed it strictly on the old, larger fan leaves. One of the original two plants that had issues appears to have the discoloring on its fan leaves on the taller buds (last two pics). The other original problem plant (pics 3&4) seems to have it mostly on larger leaves, but I’ve also seen it on the smaller leaves throughout.

Okay are you using any microbe products cause unless u are overdoing it with ur Bloom formula it looks like ur having potash deficiencies in some leafs and phosphorus in others n ur buds look good so I reckon u might be having some pH issues which are locking out some important macro nutes (imo P & K but might be a combo manganese deficiency has thos orange spots too) but a good microbe product can help keep things available at a wider pH in my experience.
But @hotrodharley could have a point if ur using some high power leds with lenses or something way too close...

What lights and how close?
The lights are 18-20” away. I’m not seeing any sort of light bleaching/burning from those (I raised them up after the drought from my vacation). I’m using the QB324 quantum boards at 160 watts per board.

pH has been an issue. In one of the original problem plants I was reading a soil pH of 7.2-7.4. I flushed with water at ~6 and the subsequent flush at 6.5, HOWEVER, this was only one plant. The rest were around 7. Perhaps there’s a nute that’s better absorbed at the lower pH values and that’s what I’m missing. I am using a microbe formula (Supreme Growers “Supre Myco Tea” which comes in a purple packet) which I add about every 5 days.

An update for anyone who’s interested. I believe that I was having issues with soil pH and getting nutrient lockout. I noticed that on the plants that were most affected the petioles had turned purple. Though it’s been this way for most of the grow, one plant that has only recently showed issues has been mostly absent of purple colors and as issues presented themselves it looks as if the colors have also presented themselves. Since the last flush I notice that in between the veins of the larger, upper fan leaves on one plant had turned the sort of purple you’d see on fall leaves and a similar color to the petioles.

I think it’s possible that I was overfertilizing them, which was changing the pH and then leading to lockout and various deficiencies, which is why I think it’s been difficult to pinpoint anything.

If ur petioles are purpling that's a sign of P deficiency.
If you have a healthy microbe population pH is less of an issue have you considered some mammoth P? Some P solublising bacteria would prob help.... Tbh tho sometimes shit happens just gotta roll with it! I'd just pH my nutes like 0.5/1ph lower than I want it, feeding at half or 3/4 strength until flush or until the runoff is coming out at the right ph.
Next time I'd say if ur away get some blumat so reliable and have yet to have one leave me with a dry pot! bongsmilie

Yeah I definitely dropped the ball during thanks giving break. I had thought my roommate would cover it but it’s best to assume you’re on your own. I now have all the components to run an automatic watering system for up to 7 days (17 gal reservoir, 400 gph pump, air stone, auto timer, assorted tubing and fittings).

Something I read when I was looking at P deficiencies is that heat and drought conditions can exacerbate P deficiency problems. Since the two original plants were closest to my fan during the drought I think this increased their transportation rates and the rate at which the soil dried making those two plants suffer more than the others.

I’ve been testing soil pH and see that they are now all around 6.5 (which is what I’m watering at) instead of 7+. I also also noticed that on the back of my pH up and down package they included a little chart about nute uptake at different pH ranges. There is a distinct drop off of P availability at around 7.5. One of the worse plants had this soil pH when I tested it a couple weeks back.

Since the couple of flushes I haven’t seen any worsening of leaf problems, whether it burning or deficiencies. Some leaves are still a bit yellow, any that were severely damaged I removed (probably should have been done weeks ago). Overall they’re looking a bit happier. I’ll continue to monitor their progress over the next 2 weeks until harvest. Since I fear that I over fertilized I will probably flush a few days out even though I’ve been using organic dry amendments and trying to run this grow as organically as possible.

Ah nobody takes care of ur girls as well as u wld lol!

Tbh I wldnt worry about flushing much more as u flushing won't be able to flush organics quite like synthetics and if ur back on track with ur pH all should be fine :)
I prefer to use organics but I do keep some synthetic nutes around to help correct any deficiencies quickly if I under do it with my soil mix......although tbh since I started a foliar regime with optic foliars full line (transport, Watts, rev and attack) I haven't had any deficiencies apart from one run that really sucked up the potash later in flower n used some synthetic Bloom nutes to pick up the slack! :lol:
