G'day folkses,

This is my 1st crop I'm growing outdoors in the Southern Hemisphere.
2 plants are yellowing more. I haven't figured out whether this is just because they are close to finishing flowering or what. I reckon maybe the pots they are in might be a bit small (20cm tall, 20cm diametre). Soil is good pH about 6.6 from memory. I water approx every 5 days.

I don't know if it is too late to put nutrients on or if it is too close to harvest. I'm making some nutes anyway.

Making Tea - is EZ.... & Cheap !
... I started some cow-poo tea a few days ago. I found an aquarium air bubbler yesterday and plonked it in the bucket. I didn't have any molasses to put it unfortunately.

The trichs look more burnt than orange too bloody 'ell

I'd appreciate your thoughts on the matters.

Cheers,
JML.

Yea those gals need 4 more weeks.

They need nitrogen and phosphorus BAD though.

If i were you id get some organi ferts for the bloom stage. It will only cost like 30 bucks and you will have it for a couple years.

But that tea should help it out. Lamp.

It depends on strains, I have one that will tend to yellow during the last 5 weeks it normal......They look good, and you dont want nitrogen when flowering...

I've got many more plants as well as those above, some really nice vegged bloomers but buds are on them are still eyeball size and not frankfurter sausage size yet. Plants variety is completely unknown to me b/c they were grown from bagseed although some RIU user said some may be "Sativa".

Is it worth buying organic fertilisers when I've got some finished cow-poo tea and some worm wine already?
Maybe if Nitrogen is bad for bloomers I could just use the worm wine as a gentle aproach..?

A little N is okay, its just high amounts make the plant favor veg growth, so you get less calyx to leaf ratio.

How did you get them to flower down under so soon?, it's not fall until next week, spring for me...
I bet your Temps are high, yes? this may have caused the burnt pistils. :weed:

Thanks your for help folks.

<SubZero>: Yep we had some 40 plus days last month and heaps of bushfires, worst bushfires in local history my house is in a massive danger zone too. I thought the scorchin' days may have been the cause of burnt tips too but I didn't want to take any chances that I'd stuffed up elsewhere in the grow.
