Most, though not all psilocybian mushrooms blue or green to some degree when bruised. I have said before that a combination of purplish brown spores and a bluing reaction will pretty much assure you of the sort of mushroom you are looking for - in the continental United States. Still, don't take the word of some unknown person on a web site as your only guide as to what mushrooms to pulll out of the ground and eat. Get Stamet's book and at least one adendum for your region and start foraging, it is a wonderful pastime and you might just get lucky.

I believe I may have said that there are sod farms in Oregon where there are magic mushrooms in the millions in the sod. OF course this sod is shipped all over the western united states so it is more than possible you may find what you seek. There are many reports of such mushrooms on college campuses and in front of court houses all over the north west.
