That Kali mist is great smoke if you have a good cultivar, but damn it can run loooooooooong. Got rid of my mothers because one pheno went 14 weeks of flower and I never finished the other, gave up after 16.
The seeds came from Serious seeds.
I hope it takes only a couple extra weeks to finish. That would be good.

Rated as the best pure sativa available right now.

I like sativa. If it finishes in a reasonable time...will be well worth the extra time(and expense, the seeds were $$$ too).

I thought it was a hybrid?
It is 90% sativa. That being said its only crossed with enough gene diversity to keep it somewhat stable. From what I understand it was back crossed multiple times after adding the gene diversity because they started out with only a female from the original Kali Mist. Take that with a grain of salt, I couldn't quote my source. It is a great strain. Even the ones I grew out were excellent I just got 2 very long running pheno types.

I loved it. If i had gotten shorter running phenos I never would have gotten rid of it. Serious seeds says 12 weeks if I remember correctly. I find that breeders tend to underestimate flowering periods, but that's not always the case. I got 10 regular seeds and only 2 females out of the 9 seeds that popped. Good luck! If you get a good mother I might try to bribe you for a clone!

Nice one guys!!! I love that everyone settles on a strain they like. And not just a strain but phenos even. I've got a limited edition peyote critical pheno that I revegged for the same reason. To keep it alive. It's the nicest I've tried in a while. And just so easy to grow. It's peyote purple X critical Kush. I assumed they stopped selling it as my site was out of stock and it's limited edition. But it's back. :P might order some for safe keep.

Back on the subject of lights. I was browsing eBay. And check these bad boys out. I think I'll order three. Add one to my veg tent. One to the flower tent and one to the outside room. Take that gnats
It's a 8w blue/red grow light hooked to a 1500v bug zapper. Those things draw such little Amps. Its no concern for fire safety.

Yeah them Kali Mist can take forever, I got a male and a few females that i pulled from a couple packs that Simon released through "Cerebral" back in late 92, and my girls never finish in less than 22 weeks! But as a side note... I have gotten a few to finish in 20 weeks if I go from 12/12 to 10/14 starting at week 16. But no matter how long they take, it is always worth it, as there are very few strains that can match what seems like a forever lingering killer Kali Mist high!

How much was that to put together? I might have a look into the cxm22s I've been taking notice of the Citi 038 1206 lately. Can get them so bloody cheap. But I don't know of any decent Chinese cheap drivers lol. My build uses Citi 048 1212s and a meanwell driver. But I feel it could be build alot cheaper. With 038 1206

My little 2x2 grow. 2 plants at a time.

The light is my home made 5 Cree CXB 3590 LEDs running at 50 watts each from a Meanwell 240H C1400b driver. 5 years old with at least 8 successful grows using this setup.
Nails it.
(that's my new grow just getting started, a Kail mist and a Gorilla girl.)

That is sweet man. I have identical footprint with a 260w QB v2 from HLG. Never ran past 200 watts though

o about $220 for a dimable 3000k light
Rapid Led ran a close out on the 22’s, they are gone. Watch witch cob you purchase, Cxm22 are a sweet spot for me other cobs are half the output it seems..... but then again the cree are mo powerful than the Cxm22 .... armchair conversion

Nice!!! The Citi 1212s have done me well. But it's time to upgrade. I don't know weather to jump on the QB train. Or upgrade to a Chinese cob and 5w combo then I can utilise my cobs still.

Holy quackamole. I'm only in a 3*3 the lights would hit them. But that is awe inspiring
