my personal problem with google is that they fucked up my morning news. i had 3 personalized sections about places i used to live or have friends living in, i had things set up so i got at least some stories i was interested in. now they've removed my personalized sections, and forced the sports section back onto my page. i hate sports, and could give a fuck about reading about any of them.....there is a button on each story that says :block all stories from this site"....it does absolutely nothing. there are also buttons that say "more stories like this", and "less stories like this"...as far as i can tell, they do absolutely nothing.
so google decides what news we get to see, and tries to give us the illusion that we have some choice in the matter......
There are also a lot larger problems at google that aren't being dealt with. they just had a 20,000 worker walkout that was organized in three days....if 20,000 workers are upset enough to stage a mass walkout with three days notice, you most definitely have human resource problems.....pay and opportunity inequities, sexual harassment, and the covering up of sexual harassment, the only recourse anyone had if they felt like they were being harassed was forced arbitration, which was a route many were embarrassed to go down, which seems to be the reason it was chose to begin with.... changing well established positions from in house positions to private contract positions, so they don't have to offer any benefits at all.....
and of course, there is the supposition that google listens to your phones, tracks all your activities, keeps records of all your purchases.....
google is starting to seem like Big Brother....and i am most definitely not Winston Smith

I stopped using google long ago I only use DuckDuckGo. Google has become so big and powerful it’s scary they already monitor everything now they have their own phones too. Damn oversized companies I swear.

Google is largely responsible for the drop of intellectual advancement of our youth. Anything that you want to know about, is a click away. Ask any kid a question, and they Google it. Take their phone away, wait 20 min and ask them to repeat the answer, they get that far away look in their eyes. No need to remember, when you can just look it up again.

I use it, but I never forget that I'm not their customer. They work for the advertisers, Our eyeballs and our information are the products they are selling. But that is the same deal as the NFL or any other group dependent on ad revenue. The viewer is the product being sold.

I use adblock software so I don't see the ads on my laptop. I know they sell my info to Amazon and the like, but I do business with them anyway, so they already know I hike. Just ask my wife, after she gets the 10th ad for neck gaiters. The ads will follow you around on several platforms.

Again, you’re pathetic. I’d say more but I already have and you’re dumber now than before.

I used to think you were simply a troll. That no one could really be that fucking stupid. Boy was I wrong. You are every bit as stupid as you portray.

You shouldn’t be allowed to use words like “math and science.” You defile a pure thing you fairy-tale believing shitbag

Denial, anger then insults and curse words. At this moment I will refrain from using something derogatory to describe your thought processes. The fairy tale moon landings and the 1,000 mph spinning ball of water? HAHAHA MMMMMMK
