Keep your personal religious beliefs out of the state. This is what gives you the right to worship as you please.

Those who forget the past (or never learn it while in some christian school of indoctrination) are doomed to repeat it. Involving any religion in PUBLIC school should scare the hell out of you! Look at the church of England! This is what this country is all about.

You are allowed to have your opinion, this is a wonderful country.

Luckily your opinion is an extreme view and in all but a few population islands experiencing genetic bottlenecks, it is a minority opinion.

This is the exact reason we have a constitution, and boy are we lucky!

Now that is a bummer religion. I knew some JW kids when we were growing up, I always thought it would suck to be them.

No birthdays, no x-mas presents. In a small town, you come back after christmas break with nothing new and the jock-strap types would pick on you to no end. I always felt bad for those kids.

I survived,lol.My dad didn't believe in it, and would buy me one thing anyway for my birthday.But we were poor, so we didn't get tons of new stuff.New clothes for school, and that's about it.

I have in-laws who are JW's. I believe it's driven the family apart, and honestly, that is not what Jesus would have wanted.

Is that a transformer jesus or something? I can't relly tell what that first pic is supposed to be. Looks like a jesus head on the top of a building or something.

I think all organized religion is just a scam, they like to make you feel guilty so you can hand them your cash for in exchange for a ticket to "heaven" . That's fine, tear 'em all down.

Regarding the 700 billion dollar question: I would say it depends on the time: as in time to resale the assets/mortgages and/or the period of time that the government will spread the repayment of the 700 billion, if applicable.

Personally, I believe if they do it right it can greatly impact the overall federal deficit. There seems to be a lot of reform going on with all of this; it will be great if the citizens could begin to earn a percentage of the interest and discount rates on these loans and otherwise.

Do you know the current or recent system didn't permit the citizen through the government to earn any rates on loans that the government lender to the banks to the consumers.

Ultimately, if the government has to do it big, it should be visionary, as in sound efficient and to the point and temporary, as temporary as it takes no more than 10 to 20 more years, if they do it righteously.

The government should be developing self sufficient citizens; this ultimately start with a cultures education and welfare programs; if there is no development in the institutions, especially among the least among us then that culture is only going to be as strong or stable as its weakest subculture.
