Should seeds be planted directly in coco?

Should seedlings be planted directly in coco or should I transplant them from rapid rooters? I've always used rooted clones in the past. Just wanna make sure I'm not wasting seeds tossing them right in the coco.

Straight to coco works great, I use 0.7/0.8ec to start them.

Yep, I germ direct in my solo cups full of coco, works perfectly.

How often should you be watering once the seedlings are above the coco? Daily? Just don't wanna water starve them. I know coco is a different animal versus oil.

That all depends on the size container you're starting in.
I start in 1 ltr pots and feed daily to run off starting around day 3 from sprout.
Never use plain water.
