I have never heard that it will help draining your tank!!!! doesnt all the heavy metals stay at the bottom anyway....doesnt souhnd like it would do all that much good to drain it, and it will always collect heavy metals all year round so your still gonna end up with more contaminents than cold waterWell thats for the lazy people that never drain the hot water heater. Should be done at least once a year. (I'm one of the lazy ones)
(some have tankless heaters too)
not sure that a tankless is gonna solve anything either....water still needs to be heated up from some sort of heat source....possibly a metal one?
