Should leaves turn purple in week 7 of flowering like this?

I have this plant 7 weeks into flowering, not sure of the strain, but was green as could be and in a few days this started to happen, I'm using foxfarm soil, GH flora micro and bloom @ 995ppm, and soil and water/ molasses at both 6.5, can this hurt my bud?

the purple looks genetic, but that yellowing, is No good. i think its wanting sum nitrogen, r u flushing it right now?? looks like grape ape to me kinda?

I flushed it a few days ago, wasn't sure what to do, not sure how many more weeks it has, but what would be the best way for some nitrogen.

yellowing could be a nitrogen issue. if u are about to harvest, dont worry about it. if u got 3-4 weeks left than if u feed it, it should be organic, like worm castings or worm casting tea or something like that. anyways if u are a week from harvest... dont worry about feeding it, i have seen many nice grows where the leaves have turned a little yellow at the end. good luck and happy harvesting:leaf:

I had some yellowing leaves on a few of my plants, so I flushed them all, and this one started getting a purple tint on leaves and the bottom ones started turning muti-colored, think it could be part of plant life cycle. I'm a noob, what would I check the trikes with.

You should be able to see the trichs if you take a close up pic or I use a hand held 100x scope. Good luck.

Howdy there,

Whats your temps like? Looks to me like genetics but I'm curious. The pics look to me like all the hairs have receded, so she is close. The yellow leaves dont worry me, especially considering you flushed. Plus, every plant I have ever grown loses lower leaves as it finishes, just part of the end of life cycle.

Looking good btw.

yes yellow leaves on bottom of plant and falling off are normal toward the end of lifecycle. just let it happen. And yes the trichosomes ill start to chan=ge color to amber/red and leave stems at top will start to turn purple. That tell u that u are near the end and within the last 2 weeks as the buds will begin to swell more and more. I personlly continue to add sugar as the plant needs this for its processes and if its losing its leaves then it has less. so giving more till the end can be helpful until the final flush and the 48hrs of darkness. I will add during flowering and see no ill effects( just in appropriate proportions). The sugars are mostly helpful if u have added microorganisms that consume the sugar. the microorganisms then aids the plant. Plants do not uptake sugars only nutrient elements but the mollasses will change resin and flavour from the media exchange barrier which u have then altered with the unusual taste and smell of sugar that they take up attached to nutrients on carbon chains.

You are week 7 flower? Don't worry about it.That is an indica by the looks of it and will be finished in 1 or 2 weeks.Leaves dying towards the end of the lifecycle is normal.Purpling leaves is also normal for "purple" varieties
