for adjusting watering ph i use ph up and down, available from nurseries and hydroponics shops.
for adjusting the ph of your soil, you can use additives such as lime, but do so very carefully as you can mess things up just as easily as fix them.

I have read about using baking soda to raise the ph, would i just use the baking soda to ph the water i am feeding with and overtime that will ph the soil?

Correct. I am Plagued with high PH. I have to really watch it. Go to Walmart and for like $2-$4 you get the "Aquarium" PH test kit. The one for pools doesn't test a broad enough PH

You can buy PH up and PH down or use cider vinager for down and baking soda to go up I believe. If I'm wrong I'm sure someone will correct me. :weed:
