should i worry about this bug/worm

Did a little reading not much but haven't found another picture that looks like this.. I got 6clones from a friend of mine. he grows outdoor. they are in some little dirt ball type of deal for clones im not to sure then names of them.. They've been in my closet for 3days now in the little humidity dome. Today a few hours after i mist them i saw this curl up at the top of the soil, at first i thought it was root growing up but quickly noticed it wasn't a root at all. I'm not to sure how to handle this now i want to dig through my other little clone's dirt ball but im scared of messing up the roots, but these things could be eatting them?? here is a few pics i dont have anymore i killed thebug.
