Should I use one of my males to pollinate a fem clone to keep these genetics?

Hey guys - I have a predicament.. I purchased some seeds and was only able to use 2 of them from this strain, I paid good money to have this strain and now both of them are males. My question is, I have another 2 plants that are females, I have already flowered and liked those strains as well. Since I don't want to lose the other strain I purchased, could I compromise by growing the male(s) seperately, then collecting the pollen from the best one and then pollinating a branch of my flowering girls to at least keep some of those genetics alive? What are your thoughts? Will I be able to at least salvage some of my purchase this way? Thank-you!

how far into flower are your females????
Hey - thanks for the response they're actually still in veg, but the 2 fems have female preflowers with many calyxes and the "males" - one has grown much faster/taller than the other plants, and both have what appears to be male preflowers right now - though they are very small and hard to distinguish yet. Maybe I will get lucky and one will still be fem though, but I am doubting it. :( I'm just hoping to then grow out a female from those seeds and keep something from the original seed genetics so it wasn't a complete waste of $$$

Pollinate the pre flowers while still in veg. It works fine and the seeds will still develop in veg. I do this quite a bit when I only need a few seeds, like 20 or less.Saving pollen is iffy at best, so get those boys in there.Wet

I have no experience of this, but.....this is what I understand. Put the pollen in a bag and wrap it over a single branch. After harvest, thoroughly clean/vacuum the area to ensure no pollen remains for the next grow. Suspect I'm stating the obvious here but it may be of use to newbies reading this.
