Should I stick with the current setup?

So I currently have some 600w'ers but I will have to change my setup. I can either keep my 600w cool tube, maybe get a better brand/dual-spectrum bulb OR I can get get RID OF the 600's and pick up a LED, maybe around the same range so probably a 500wLED?

I'd go with the LED but a 500w is going to be big-time cash. Usually it's 3x $ per watt for a quality made LED. And I don't understand your mssg completely. I mean - the header says: 'Should I stick with the current setup?'. And then your first sentence says you 'have to change my setup'. Seems a bit twisted dude - your logic I mean. Or maybe you're posting high? That I'd understand. Let us know after you get your thoughts straight.

Well I'm currently sitting at a comfy 1600, so moving to a 600hps or 500led would be changing it :P. Plus I'm always medicated ;). Anyways I'm really looking at this from an overall best choice perspective. The lower heat is definitely a plus, but does it match up in lumens/final results? Is it worth the extra money? Since I already have a 600 I don't want to get rid of it then have to spend extra to get a new 600.

keep the 600 . I used to burn 1000 waters . I love the 600 . I actually get better yield from the 600 with hortilux bulbs vs 1000 watt using cheap bulbs. and I save electric. if I were you get two 600 waters that will be one hell of an upgrade ! could double your yield instead of those cool tubes get a flat hood it seams to spread the light better then round cool tubes. I would pass on the led set up.

Well it's actually like a cool-tube inside one of those big square reflector-hoods ..don't recall the exact name lol. So I guess a better bulb is all I will be needing? =) ...about time I stopped needing big ticket items!

Here is a open room example. I am upgrading from a 400watt, and think I am going with the 1000watt digital adjustable 500/750/1000

That's a nice setup, pretty advanced. I don't think I mentioned this and it is pretty important. Despite me being a patient, my downsizing is requiring me be very cautious about smell and sound. And I have a limited amount of space. Is that a good-tent or a knock-off-cheap-tent, it's local so it's better for me, hard to find and pay for shipping.

Hey guys, hope someone can offer me so more help? I have severe pain 24 hours 7 days a week, spinal-cord problems, it's very complicated. Right now I can get my own no problem, but soon I will have to be stealth, noise and smell, heat and e1ectricity and so on. That means I will most likely have to switch to a led setup. Any suggestions, I am on a tight-medium-budget.

^Yeah LED would probably be optimal. But they are $$$$$ ... would a 250w LED perform well? (...I'm thinking compared to like a 400w)

What about CFL'S? If I could find maybe 4x 250W CFL'S would those perform well? (..again compared to a 400w)
