Ok so i just looked at the last frost on some website for New york and it says the last frost is 4/13/08 but from the look of the weather reports its not ganna freeze anymore. Its 3/25/08 right now and i was just wondering if i should start germinating my seeds now. And i checked a 10 day weather prediction for my area and it dosent get lower that 37 at night so i also was wondering when i should germ my seeds (if i do germinate them) would they be safe to be put outside in the weather (37 to 57 and rising).:hump:

Thanks :joint:

I'm in the Mid-west and I've always heard that May 1st is the day to shoot for. I've heard this from local growers and I read it in a couple of grow guides.
May is more than early enough to get monster plants. I'm even thinking of waiting until late May early June. I'm shooting for plants that stay kinda short and bushy.

Im in NY and im starting them inside right now and taking them out in a couple weeks.
It should be ok if they're a couple weeks old plus its gunna warm up fast.

I mean.... if ideal temperatures are loosely between 60 and 80F I'd assume waiting till those temperatures occur outdoors. At least that's what I would do if the seedlings are gonna be outside.
