i just reppotted my plants, i had 4 to 5 in a quart size pot and discovered since i got on here and found people who know what they are talking about that it was way too small of a pot and i had way to many plants in there as well. i succesfully transplanted my plants into 3 gallon containers. they are about 16 inches tall. now that ive given the background info my question is, should i start flowering? if they are ready i want to do it but if holding off and keeping them on a 16/8 cycle would promote the best growth then i want to do that. help me out here.

A general rule of thumb is you can flower at 12 inches, but going larger is fine if you have the space.
But like any rule there a exceptions, like if your growing in a sea of green method, or if your growing sativa dominant strains, which you would proably want to flower smaller.

yeah flower now unless you want them to double in size, good for yeild, but a pain for space, i did this and thought next time i'll bloom at a foot tall but im gonna experiment on a few plants this time with some different methods!
Good luck

thanks for the advice guys. i put my timer on a 12 hour cycle, so hopefully it goes well. some of my plants were looking droopy and sad as hell but after i transplanted them they perked up within 4 hours. i just hope none of the plants are dudes. i hate a cockfest
