I have a diy stinkbud Aeroponic setup that I'm going to be using to veg some plants for my dwc.

Should I keep the pump on a time or should I run it 24/7?
thanks in advance.

Some people run them on a timer if the pump is getting the water too hot.
Im not familiar with your situation.

You didn't say what size cloner you have. If you're using a submerseable (sp) pump watch out for nute temps running 24/7.

Policy here is 15 seconds on 15 minutes off.

Yes, it is much better to run a timer. I run aero cloner, aero veg and flower andI run all 80secs on and 8mins off. This does many things like allows res temp control and roots to get o2, and contrary to above comment, will also keep them plenty alive. I just went through a 20hr power outage and didn't even see drooping in any of the plants.

You can run the pump however you want it.

I seen some people 1 min on 4min off.

I run 15mins on, 45mins off, that keeps my water temps 75-78F.

Remember how long you run your pump is how long its going to heat up your res.

Yep---panic time unless you have a generator---hate those power outages.

yeah you will probably kill all your clones if you let the pump run 24/7 your temps will probably get over 90.
