yeah you've got some stretch going on there...but I'd just raise them up to the light a bit and wait another week before transplanting...if you get a small fan blowing gently on the the stems will get stronger as well. When you repot you can fill in a little bit as well to cover up the initial stretch you've got going on :)

Exactly the advice that I would give.

Welcome !!!!! You came to the right place for expert advise. massah, and many others have vast amounts of knowledge.

Listen to the veterans and you will be growing primo herb after you got the bagseed grow under your belt. Hell, I started as a noob growing GIRLS in a cheap dog crate !!!! LOL

Read up on veg nutes, ventilation, lights and what you will have to do to get a good yield in a 3 by 3 cube.
Most Important...remember it's a weed and don't do anything drastic !!!!!

Shit man the op is getting some great answers today. I would definitely get a fan on them ASAP otherwise they might not be able to support bud wieght. On my first they stretched like that. I put a fan on em and just tweeked em a little every time I went in the grow room. It really seemed to help.

Are you keeping an eye on the temps? too hot can strrrrrrretch them like that ,you could get one of those cheap computer fans and exhaust it out.
Just curious why are you growing in a fish tank ?

this is awesome, i love that there are so many ppl willing to help!

no i am not growing in the fish tank. i was using it as a temporary spot until i finished my cab. i am in the process of painting it now. it is a 3x3 ft cube of wood. anyway it is probably not heat thats causing them to stretch in this instance, they fluctuate between 72 and 76 degrees. the lights are pretty far away. one has actually flopped over...havent had a chance to move them up yet, but will be doing that very shortly here. the plan is to transplant them next weekend which will be the 2 week mark since sprouting...

Just surfing---- I suggest you try to get 'em closer to light b4 you transplant or you may have a little trouble...even as the prior poster said with increasing soil level.
I'm sure everything will be OK.
