Should I kill this plant now and save my time? +++++ PICS ++++++

Check out this retard. Is it worth trying to save it or is it a gonner ?

i wouldn't kill it.. it looks basically healthy to me, other than a lil over or under watering.. looking at the soil though tends me to think that its a lil overwatered though.. just let her dry out some and she should perk right back up..

what kind of soil are you using?

just ease up on the water and she will great ,its very tight (nodes i mean)

I think it was actually underwatered. I left for 3 days and came back and the soil was pretty dry (I got a fan blowing at her).

The pics you see are those after I just watered it.

U guys think I should put the light (CFL's) higher so she could stretch some? The nodes are so close that I think it's not good for her.

it's shit soil. something I found outside my home . the stuff was like a year old sitting outside. Tomorrow I'm planning to transplant it into some good soil and a bigger pot.

no no.. close nodes is what you want my friend.. i wouldn't go moving anything right now as she looks great other than a lil droppy.. so quick to kill, jessh, lol.. give her a lil time and i'm sure she'll bounce right back to health as she doesn't have too far to go honestly..

I was thinking that the nodes were too tight, but I'm a newbie so shows how much I know. Thanks for the input racerboy, I was thinking of raising my lights to get mine to stretch a bit but now I will leave them were they are (for now). Thanks.

yeah, going tomorrow to pick that up. also, want to pick up some Miracid. Heard it was pretty good for veggin' plants.

My basic rule is like that of hypothermia victims, they aren't dead until they have absolutely no green left.

i would put of transplanting for probably a week or so as transplanting can cause stress and your poor baby looks stressed out enough atm.. let her get back to 100% health before transplanting, and she will do fine..
and as for her size, it looks good for a couple of weeks.. during the first week or so, a new plant puts a lot of energy into creating a healthy root strutcure, and you may not see a lot of growth going on above soil, but rest assured, its doing plenty of growing below the soil, and once those roots get established, the above soil growth should also start to take off..

My plants that I started under CFL's looked like that too, ridiculously tight node spacing. Now they look like trees (nothing for the first 4-5 inches of stem, then it just explodes out into a canopy like a tree) (I topped LBH 4-way LST style)

when did u notice the explosion in growth? Mine are about 3 weeks and look like this.

Don't transplant, don't move the light.

DO wrap those clear solo cups with duct tape, do cut holes in the bottom of the cup for drainage.

Here comes the crude part nodes are like pussy...... they can never be too tight.


You can keep plants in solo cups a long time.

6 weeks:


Then I trans planted to a 5 1/2" pot



and about 3 weeks later



They are fine just watch your water and heat.

Tight nodes like that is what breeders look4. Plus it's healthy let it ride

Bonzi, Thanks for the advice but they are in the blue/red 16 oz cups, not the see thru ones. But maybe there is a little light seeping thru even thru the paint.
Maybe it's something with water, I'll keep you guys updated.

BTW, LMAO at the pussy comparison. LOL !!!!
