Should I get risers for my grow tent?

I'm gonna have a 5x4 grow tent and I thought it would be a good idea to have the tent at least 6 inches off the ground since I work in the culinary field it is law to have all food products at least six inches off the ground. Plus carpets are filthy and I want the cleanest bud possible. I figured a full sized bed frame would work but my concern is the slats it sits on. Probably a good chance they could snap over time? Maybe I should get some ply wood fitted to the bed frame? There is also an option for a ten inches off the ground but I feel like they may be overdoing it however it might be a nice place to store nutes and stuff. Thoughts?

Ehh, I say just put the tent straight onto the carpet. A riser or space beneath it is just room for shit to nest. If you're overly concerned, throw some diatomaceous earth down on the carpet & around the tent. I use "indoor bug sprays" every couple months in the lung room as a preventative measure

That filthy carpet is going to be a problem, in that, it could harbor a ton of mold spores. I'd rent a carpet cleaner-vacuum the crap out of it first, then run the carpet cleaner over again and again until the water you're sucking back out of it is clean. Then air out the room until it's totally dry. Setting the tent on the floor won't hurt anything, but in a dirty room, you need to filter all of your intakes. Another thing that can help in a room like that is to run a hepa air filter to cut down on circulating mold spores. Good luck!

No need to overcomplicate things, just put a tarp or heavy painters plastic under your tent, it'll save you from destroying your carpet. You will still need to clean your tent often, whether its elevated off the ground or not.
I'd take it a step further and completely cover the carpet in the room so you don't have carpet fibers floating around in the air everytime you walk on it That could get stuck to the buds. I cringe everytime I see photos of buds with lint, hair, fibers, etc... all over them.

No offense but why not just vacuum your filthy carpet? I mean, you want clean bud but your carpet is so dirty you dont even want to set your tent on it? If that really is the case, maybe rethink your priorities.
You are an ass! Carpets, themselves, are filthy! I never said mine were filthy.

I have been personally been thinking of adding a table to put tent on because getting old sucks. It’s not the getting down to water but the hell of a time getting back up
Just use a bucket connected to a drip ring. Pour the water in the bucket and walk away. I used one of those big square peanut jars, just drilled a hole at the bottom and pushed the hose in.

These are $6.00.
