If we take your high estimate of 8 oz and 4 plants you have a gpw of 0.89, but as you say prolly lower than that. A very very average yield for such a long veg and so much light. No wonder you don't do gpw, factor in the time used and not very good.

By the way, the grower who that pic belongs to gets way over 1 gpw removing the fan leafs.
You are dumb. I don't weigh the popcorn buds that I use for hash or cannabutter. You try to attack with bullshit. grow less plants and get weight, plus you don't even know what I've done or what I'm about to be doing. All I know is you were caught.

so now you are back peddling I see, I bet you are actually closer to something like a 0.5 gpw. Too bad you don't know how to grow weed without popcorn, which is one of the goals when removing the fans.

you can just make sure you give the plants what they need when they need it and you'll be fine.Just keep the PH right and the proper nutes and you'll be fine no matter if you use soil or hydro. It's not what you use but how you use it.
yea but doesnt genes, veg time, height, and even nutes play a factor as well as wattage of the light/lights u have?

Well the genes play a part in major the plant but making sure the plant gets what it needs will insure a good yield. As for doing GPW I'm not worried about that because that in tells more plants and the more plants the more trouble even if you have your MMJ card.

GPW = grams per watt. Just a way to see if you are using your light to it's fullest. A more accurate model would be a combination of total electricty, time and space used. It has nothing to do with plant numbers. To say you aren't worried about it and bring up plant numbers as a reason is beyond silly, one would think you would want to grow more weed with less watts.

I know what GPW is. My thing is this 2lbs per 1000 watt light 2-4 plants each 1 to a 1-1/2 month veg is what I'm going for I get what I get with no CO2 and a simple nute program

If you are using less plants and optimizing the light you're using then it will be less wattage more yield. Did you even take math in school?

You already stated this, do you think that 0.89 with a long veg is impressive? Honestly I don't think it is. I can hit that with 2 weeks and a 250 watter. It's a good sound yield regardless, but the guys who have mastered taking their fan leafs off do much better. Maybe you should think about it. No popcorn either. Easy enough to use the google and find info on defloiation + Cannabis and find out how it might help improve your yields.

No it won't. your yield divided by your watts. Has nothing to do with plant numbers or light size. Did you even go to school? Is this concept too hard for you to follow?

100 grams from 10 plants divided by 100 watts = 1 gpw
100 grams from 1 plant divided by 100 watts = 1 gpw

I laugh at you. You are trying your best to justify your way of doing shit but the difference is I have friends who have been doing this before we even smoked and I know people that are supplying half the dispensaries in SoCal so get off my dick.

No I'm not. I don't cut my fan leafs off. All I'm doing is saying that it can be done and in certain situations can actually increase yield. I don't try to convince people to do one thing or the other, just give them info and let them decide.

What's your point? For all I know your friends get the shittiest yield in the world but have great quality. Fuck I hear people talk about how shitty the weed is in the dispensaries anyway. So big deal, you know people, has nothing to do with this conversation.

I grow quality that's why I don't worry about GPW.
this is what im saying.thats why when people brag about growing bigger bud it doesnt really impress me.
japanfreak may get more gpw,but your bud might be better quality.
so quality is always more important.
but im sure your both happy with your product.

Then again I might grow weed that is much much better than his.

(anybody is tripping if they don't think it's about genetics though)
