Should I Chop this??

Unfortunately bud rot is hitting some of the lower nodes on my super skunk and as it's outdoors and raining a lot I've got 2 choices.

One the hail Mary! Move it into my 40 percent humidity grow tent and risk my other plants (probably a bad idea?)

2 I chop it down now but is it far enough along to be worthwhile? Would it have a decent thx percent by now?

Na man, it's way too early to cut. You need to try to hang on for a couple/few more weeks.

I'd spray with a potassium bicarbonate spray and move it into the tent, if possible.

I wouldn’t move it into my tent. Trim the moldy buds off when they are wet to keep spores from traveling as much.

The only way to know how far along it is for sure is to look at the trichomes through a 60x jewelers loupe.
If the trichomes are white, its good enough.
If the trichomes are clear then its definitely too early.
A 60x jewelers loupe can be bought on Amazon for like $10-$15
P.S.- Incase youre not aware, be careful with Neem oil.
It smells absolutely disgusting, so make sure none of it gets on the buds. If ya want to use it during flowering, its better to wear gloves, and apply it by rubbing it on the fan leaves to avoid spraying the buds.

Plenty of trichomes but indeed they're pretty clear unfortunately, looked through a loupe. I thought when clear they still have thc just less amounts? Anyway hoping the bicarb solution will stop it from spreading further so i can at least get another week or 2 of ripening out of it!!

Sorry, im not sure what ya mean by theres nothing to look at?
Youre saying theres no trichomes?
Or that youre sure the trichomes are empty?
Its got frost so obviously it got trichs but i repeat where is the bud? Not ripe at all. White hairs will brown and leave u smoking more of them then bud. U shouldn't even be looking at trichs til u see it ripen up. Then look at the trichs on the swollen calyx. Hairs should be retracted in or thats what u smoking. I think it needs minimum 4 more weeks imo. I say ride it out til the wheels fall off.

They will have thc, but harvesting that early will result in lackluster grassy smelling buds.

Yeah I treated with bicarb solution think the issue is too advanced but worth a shot as an experiment. These outdoor plants were the runts from my indoor grow and I never expected them to do so well... Until now! After spraying the baking soda mix the ojstils turned black which I read is normal and they will die and new ones will come, at this point I'm just hoping if survives long enough and I think I'll polinate it with a Thai sativa instead, see if I can get something that is less fat but with the faster flowering and higher thc of super skunk!
